I do not have any fancy cameras or other props for taking pictures. All my pictures are taken with my cell phone (Huawei Mate 9), mostly on my balcony or in the garden. I frequently use cutting boards as the backdrop for my pictures.
Taking pictures outside definitely poses some challenges. It gets nippy here in Indiana in the dead of winter. In summer, the light is usually harsh and completely washes the colors. Also, it’s often windy here and sometimes my beautiful compositions are literally blown apart by the wind!
My cats love my picture-taking ventures and from time to time I unexpectedly find a tip of a cat tail or ear in the corner of a picture.
